Volunteer to the Christian Life Church!
Welcome to Camp Katrina
Otherwise known as the Christian Life Church, a ministry of the Christian and Missionary Alliance! The primary site for Camp Katrina can be found at www.clcgulfcoast.com. This site that you're currently on serves as a means for volunteers to update their personal information and skills assessments. If you're a trip leader/coordinator, you can register as a leader and use the site to set up volunteer trips. Also, once volunteers enroll with the site, they will be able to receive newsletters from Camp Katrina via email!
Please read over the following instructions if you're interested in volunteering to work with us.
1.
If you're here to register a group, make sure that you already know who's in your group, when everyone is available to come, and who in your group is a leader/representative of your church. If a member of your group is not actually a church leader, just make sure you assign one person to be the group representative.
If your group is less than 3 or 4 volunteers, don't bother registering here. Just visit the contact page and send and e-mail to Director Tom Barbour.
Or if you are a returning group and you are already in our database, e-mail your phone number, arrival date, and organization information to Director Tom Barbour from our contact page and we'll give you instructions.
2.
The person you appointed as a group leader will have to sign up for an account here, using both their personal phone number and the phone number of the church they represent. An administrator here at the CLC will call you to let you know that your account was confirmed.
If your group isn't a part of an established church, you can still create a church leader account.
3.
Once your group leader has a confirmed account, they can login and create a group. Then the group members can find the group without creating an account and sign up to be a part of that group.
